KVN Dance Company has announced the full cast for Kevan Allen’s magical reimagined version of the classical ballet Coppelia which continues its 16-venue tour at Darlington Hippodrome on Sunday 23 June.
Marylebone Theatre Reveals Spring 2024 Season
Marylebone Theatre has announced an exciting Spring 2024 season of drama and dance. The season includes a contemporary adaptation of Dostoyevsky’s Dream of a Ridiculous Man by Laurence Boswell; famed poet Sir Ben Okri presents Revolution Earth; the moving The Most Precious of Goods is translated and directed by Nicholas Kent; and Marylebone Theatre presents its first dance pieces.

Performing in the role of Dr Coppelius is Micheal Downing whose credits include music videos for international popstars Olly Murs, MK and Becky Hill and who recently received rave reviews for his performances in Peter and the Wolf at the Hackney Empire. He is joined by Marina Fraser as Swanhilder, who has danced with The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet and the Viviana Durante Company, and Danny Fogarty as Franz, who recently appeared in the hugely successful Netflix period drama Bridgerton.
BWW Review: THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT, Royal Albert Hall
Following on from their celebration of all things Queen in October, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra last night returned to the Royal Albert Hall for a night of modern musical magic. Conducted by Richard Balcombe, the orchestra performed an incredible range of songs from modern-day shows - ranging from screen-to-stage adaptations and jukebox hits, to completely original musicals. Stage star Bonnie Langford (currently in the West End production of 9 to 5) was there to oversee the evening's events, and was joined by soloists Alex Gaumond, Celinde Schoenmaker, Louise Dearman and Ben Forster, as well as the ArtsEd Ensemble.
