The Critics Choice Association hosted its inaugural Celebration of LGBTQ+ Cinema & Television this weekend. Among the honorees were several Broadway performers, including Nathan Lane, George Takei, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez.

Theatre West will screen the Emmy-nominated documentary EVERY ACT OF LIFE about Terrence McNally on June 23, 2024, followed by a discussion with director Jeff Kaufman, producer Marcia Ross, and Tyne Daly.

The original The Lion King will be re-released in theaters on July 12th, according to an Instagram post on the official Disney account.

Lee Wilkof, who played Seymour in the original Off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, is currently developing a short film called Teenage Waistband. The film is based on Wilkof's own experiences, with the goal of illuminating the racial disparity in America in the 1960's. Teenage Waistband is being funded by donors on Kickstarter and, as of May 29, has reached its campaign goal.
